MD Logistics and Novo Nordisk highlight supply chain partnership during recent visit.

Recently, MD Logistics opened its doors to representatives from Novo Nordisk, Inc. and state and federal governments for a legislative tour of its flagship pharmaceutical facility.

Attending officials included Indiana Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann, Indiana State Representative Bob Behning and representatives from the congressional offices of U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly and U.S. Senator Dan Coats.

Other attendees included representatives from the Indiana Health Industry Forum  (IHIF), Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership, City of Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, and Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Driver, Charlie Kimball, who shared on how diabetes has impacted his life as a professional INDYCAR driver.

MD Logistics was thrilled at the opportunity to highlight how its operations centralized in Indiana positively impact the rest of the country. MD Logistics also embraced the opportunity to educate key policymakers about the importance of supply chain logistics in mitigating costs, driving efficiency and ultimately streamlining patient care.

MD Logistics and Novo Nordisk were able to showcase their supply chain partnership, and further display how, by working together, they are able to continue meeting the needs of patients across the country.
