In early 2023, we hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony of our sixth warehouse in Garner, North Carolina, our first on the east coast. As readily available capacity in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals industry continues to be in short supply, we are looking for ways to alleviate this strain.  The addition of this facility to our network allows us to better service our clients’ supply chains on the east coast, but also provides some additional capacity to help ease the constraints felt by the industry. As we look forward to future plans of expansion, we are pleased to be named a Top 100 3PL provider by Inbound Logistics Magazine for the 12th consecutive year.

“When companies are faced with unexpected demand and growth, a need for technology and automation, and other supply chain challenges, they turn to best-in-class 3PLs such as MD Logistics. In recognition of that effort, Inbound Logistics editors selected MD Logistics as a 2023 Top 100 3PL Provider.” Stated Felecia Stratton, Editor, Inbound Logistics Magazine.

Yearly, the editors at Inbound Logistics Magazine compile a list of 100 of the top 3PLs in the logistics industry. This list of 100 is comprised of those companies who the editors say are best equipped to meet and surpass their audience’s evolving outsourcing needs. As more 3PLs enter the market and service providers offer value-added logistics capabilities, the process of compiling the list of the Top 100 is even more difficult. This year’s list was taken from a pool of more than 300 applicants and offers “diverse operational capabilities and experience driving efficiency and operational excellence for today’s demand-driven enterprises” according to Inbound Logistics editors.

“The distinction of being named a Top 100 3PL by Inbound Logistics Magazine is an accolade that we are immensely proud of. To be named a Top 100 3PL for the 12th consecutive year is a feat that I am proud of and is well deserved by our MD Logistics team.” States John Sell, President & CEO, MD Logistics. “We pride ourselves in being recognized as a top 3PL within the pharmaceutical and retail industries that we service. Being recognized by the editors at Inbound Logistics for this is an honor. Our team has been hard at work to respond to the evolving needs of not only our clients, but the needs of the industry as well. This year, we opened the sixth warehouse in the MD Logistics network, our first in the southeast region of the United States. We are excited to continue to serve life science and pharmaceutical supply chains on the East Coast and ease capacity constraints felt by companies in this area. As we look to the future, I am most looking forward to seeing where the MD Logistics brand will go next. Our organization’s continued expansion wouldn’t be possible without the support of our loyal clients and dedicated team members. The recognition of being named to the Top 100 3PL list for the 12th consecutive year is as much an achievement for each of them as it is for our organization. We look forward to being able to offer the same service to current and potential clients for years to come, no matter where the industry takes us next.”
