Key Personnel to Spearhead Upcoming Operational Initiatives.

As we continue to grow and move forward as a company, our goal remains to be fast and flexible while providing you with the best services and solutions. As your business needs change, so too, do our personnel needs. In order to assure our continued momentum and success in several key strategic and operations initiatives, we are pleased to announce the following organizational changes and transitions effective May 14, 2012.

Jim Hepp will transition from his current role as Director of Information Technology and assume the role of Director of Strategic Development and Planning. In this role Jim will take on the responsibilities formerly managed by Chad Hodges and continue the very important task of moving our Red Prairie WMS roll out to completion. This will include the continued design and integration of the Red Prairie Suite to our Retail sector, as well as support and training for this application company wide. Jim joined the organization in 2007 and has held key positions in both warehouse management and information technology. Our long term success as a company depends on our ability to seamlessly transition our current and future customers’ business to the Red Prairie WMS application, and Jim is uniquely suited to lead this initiative.

Jon Francis has been promoted to Director of Information Technology and will take over the day to day oversight and planning around our IT infrastructure, systems support and customer integrations. Since joining MDL in 2010, Jon has demonstrated an intuitive understanding of our business model and our customer’s technology requirements. He will continue to build and support our network infrastructure, customer and vendor interfaces, and other key applications.

Chad Hodges will transition from his current role as Director of Strategic Development and Planning and assume the role of Director of Pharmaceutical Operations. In this role Chad will lead our day to day Pharmaceutical warehouse operations including both Plainfield and Reno sites. He will also oversee our Customer Care Center and be responsible for all customer support, communications and interfaces. Since joining MDL in 2006, Chad has held several key positions and has gained knowledge across the organization. These experiences make him distinctively qualified to lead our Pharmaceutical vertical both now and into the future.

Joe Gillis will assume a new role as Associate Director of Operations. He will oversee the day to day tactical warehouse operations for the Plainfield Pharmaceutical site including all receiving, packaging and shipping functions. Although Joe has been with MDL for only a short time, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the business and our customer deliverables. His willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done will serve him well in his new role.

Please join us in congratulating Jim, Jon, Chad and Joe. We at MD Logistics are very fortunate to have such capable and knowledgeable leaders and these changes will further strengthen our management team moving forward.
