2020 has proven to be a year of rapid change for many, including third party logistics provider, MD Logistics. Business plans were quickly altered when a pandemic swept across the globe. As companies had to quickly adapt their business to the new environment, their 3PLs had to be able to respond just as quickly to whatever challenges the pandemic created. In an uncertain year, full of rapid changes, we are pleased to be named a Top 100 3PL Provider by Inbound Logistics Magazine for the 9th consecutive year.

“When choosing the 2020 Top 100 3PL Providers, Inbound Logistics editors looked for providers who offer the visibility, flexibility, speed and control that rive the supply chain solutions our audience needs to achieve their goals ad meet customers’ evolving needs.” Stated Inbound Logistics Editor, Felecia Stratton. “Inbound Logistics is proud to honor MD Logistics for innovative solutions empowering logistics and supply chain excellence in 2020.”

Yearly, Inbound Logistics puts together a list of 100 of the top third party logistics providers in the country. This comprehensive listing features providers who the Inbound Logistics staff feels are best equipped to meet and surpass the evolving outsourcing needs of the industry. However, as more and more logistics providers enter the market and service providers from other functional areas develop additional value added logistical capabilities, choosing a select few to award the distinction of a ‘Top 100 3PL’ is never an easy task. From a field of more than 300 potential applicants, all vying for a spot on the 2020 list, the IL editors chose the companies that offered “the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet our audience’s unique supply chain and logistics needs”.

“As the world continues to evolve amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain nimble to respond to the needs of our customer’s and others within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals and Retail and Consumer Goods industries.” states Mark Sell, President & CEO of MD Logistics. “If we have learned one thing this year, it’s that in order for us to remain successful as a logistics provider, we must not only adapt to the challenges that are brought our way, but also respond with innovative solutions to our customers unique business needs. Our entire MD Logistics team remains dedicated to helping our customers navigate their ‘new normal’ and are humbled by another year of recognition by the Inbound Logistics team of editors”.
