In a rapidly changing industry, MD Logistics continues to create valuable partnerships in the 3PL world.

Global Trade Magazine and Inbound Logistics have both released their industry lists of Top 3PL’s for 2017, once again recognizing MD Logistics as a key player in the 3PL industry. Providing game-changing supply chain solutions and value-added partnerships to its customers, MD Logistics continues to rise above the competition.

As is the case each year, Global Trade presents its annual “Top 3PLs Issue“. This issue not only highlights the best logistical and supply chain outfits in the business, but more accurately presents how this fast-evolving industry goes about moving just about every product on earth.

Just as in previous issues, 100 of the best, brightest and biggest 3PLs were divided into various categories denoting various service expertise and company strengths. Companies were again chosen based on a year’s worth of study that included their reputation in the industry and new initiatives and/or services provided, as well as exceptional excellence in doing what they do.

“It’s a measure of the quickly evolving global marketplace that arguably the most critical industry serving it, Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs), continues to grow and change at a dizzying pace,” writes Global Trade senior editor Steve Lowery. ” That evolution has been chronicled over the years in this, our annual Top 3PL issue, as we have, over that time, written about such things as increasing emphasis and reliance on technology, the constant march toward transparency and, most recently, the increasing pace of acquisitions and consolidations.”

This year, MD Logistics was recognized by Global Trade as a Top 3PL for Medical Solutions. Having recently completed a facility expansion to include both frozen and refrigerated cold storage solutions, within a cGMP quality environment, MD Logistics continues to serve one of its core vertical markets, the Life Science and Medical Device industry.

Inbound-Logistics-Top-100-3PL-Provider-2017For the 6th consecutive year, Inbound Logistics has named MD Logistics a Top 100 3PL Provider. This award recognizes their continued dedication to creating custom solutions to meet customer’s needs and continued investments in technology, adhering to the ever changing compliance and regulatory requirements of both the retail and pharmaceutical industries. Inbound Logistics Editor, Felecia Stratton explains, “MD Logistics continues to provide the logistics, transportation, and supply chain solutions Inbound Logistics readers need to achieve the visibility and control that drives successful supply chains. MD Logistics is flexible and responsive, anticipating customer’ evolving needs, and deserves recognition for providing the innovative solutions empowering logistics and supply chain excellence in 2017.”

Each year, Inbound Logistics editors select the best logistics solutions providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting personal interviews and online research, and comparing that data to readers’ burgeoning global supply chain and logistics challenges. The service providers selected are companies that, in the opinion of IL editors, offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet readers’ unique supply chain and logistics needs. MD Logistics was selected for a place on the Top 100 3PL list from a field of 300 companies.
